Michael Peck — Math Tutor I graduated high school with a 4.4 GPA and honor roll standing, and I'm now a sophomore in college. Math has always been a strength of mine, and I focus on helping students build real understanding, not just get through homework. My approach is patient and hands-on. I work through problems alongside my students, focus on the "why" behind each step, and push for genuine critical thinking rather than memorized shortcuts. I'm also the founder of Peregrine. I taught myself to code and built this entire platform from the ground up, which means I know firsthand what it takes to sit with something hard, work through confusion, and come out the other side actually understanding it. That's exactly what I bring to every session: real focus, real patience, and a genuine belief that every student can get there with the right support. I'm just getting started as a tutor, but I've been the person friends and family come to when they're stuck on math, and I care deeply about doing this well.
